Key
Highlights
01.
Cutting-Edge Technology
Our revolutionary Zeroplast material is a bio-based, compostable, and recyclable alternative to conventional plastics.
Developed through the Bioormocer project in collaboration with BBI Industries, our bio-based barrier coating is free of any chemical additives, making it safe for both consumers and the environment.
03.
Recyclable and Eco-Compatible
Our Zeroplast material is fully recyclable and eco-compatible, ensuring that it can be disposed of responsibly and reused in a closed-loop system.
In case of littering, our packaging breaks down naturally, leaving behind no harmful residues or pollutants.
02.
100% free of Microplastic and Chemical Additives
Unlike traditional plastics, our Zeroplast material is free of any microplastics, plastics and chemical additives.
Classified as a biogenic material, it offers a sustainable solution to plastic pollution without compromising on performance or versatility.
04.
Pioneering Approach
Greiner Zeroplast is proud to be the first to offer a bio-based material feasible for injection molding at competitive prices with plastic.
Our innovative approach to packaging solutions sets us apart in the industry, driving positive change and leading the way towards a more sustainable future.
Plastic pollution has reached crisis levels, with an estimated 8 million metric tons of plastic entering our oceans every year.
Despite efforts to recycle, only a fraction of plastic is actually recycled, while the rest ends up in landfills or the natural environment.
As plastics degrade, they break down into tiny particles known as microplastics, which have been found in the most remote corners of the globe and even in our bodies.
Amidst the Plastic Crisis, innovative solutions are emerging. Zeroplast, developed by Waxell, is one such solution that offers a promising alternative to traditional plastics.
